Diaconate
The Diaconate consists of five members. It serves as a reflection of the church ministry in the areas of Pastoral Care, Worship, Building and Grounds, Outreach and Education. The Diaconate is appointed by the Board of Elders. The Diaconate is self-organizing and accountable to the Board and responsible to inform the rest of the congregation of what is needed in their particular area of administration. Once appointed, the Diaconate leaders will seek volunteers from the congregation to serve in their respective commissions.
Worship: General over sight of the worship services at the church.
Education: Set the church’s education goals and policies; establish instructional programsĀ and materials; appoint teachers and monitor needs.
Outreach: Set goals and approach for overseeing the church’s activities in the area of; Evangelism, Missions, Discipleship
Pastoral Care: Organize and supervise the care of the members of the church and its fellowship activities.
Building and Grounds: Responsible for the administrative functions required of the church’s business and for the care and maintenance of all church properties.
