The images on TV of hostile Muslims can strike fear in us; pictures of veiled women can cause us to think Muslims are unapproachable, not to mention unreachable. Overcome the fear and take a step toward understanding Muslims. Seven million Muslims live and work among us in North America. Each one needs – and deserves – an authentic Christian witness.

Please join CVC members/friends for a 2hour class 2 times each week over a 3 week period for a total of 6 sessions.

Class dates:

• WED 9/8, 9/15 & 9/22 at 6:30-8:30 pm
• SAT 9/11, 9/18 & 9/25 at 9:30 -11: 30 am.

There will be prayer, discussion, video content, group response, and action assignments. Bring your bible for easy reference. For those who would like a carry home guide, a Companion Study Book is available for the purchase price of $10.

Creek Valley Church members and friends are making a commitment to pray for the Muslim Community during their time of Ramadan. Please pray along with CVC as we work at fulfilling the call to live out the love of God toward all people.

 The cultural differences, threats of terrorism and negative stereotypes of Muslims have made many of God’s people shrink back from sharing the love of Jesus. Ask God to inspire your prayers and put to death the prejudices that would hinder your ability to help bring light into darkness. Use the Bible as much as possible as you meditate on and prepare to proclaim the new insights God will give you. Invite believing friends to come alongside of you in prayer. Praying together will help generate more faith and creative prayer. CVC will be praying that God will open up opportunities for people to show that God is accessible through Jesus Christ. Be prepared to tell others that Jesus came into the world “full of grace and truth.”

The threat of a new war is very real. Be in prayer for Christian workers inside of Sudan as they try to reach Muslims for Christ. Everyday these workers face huge financial restrictions and governmental limitations as they try to take care of the urgent needs of the poor. Prayer is always needed and now is a time to join other believers in a special focus on the Muslim community.

Deuteronomy 4.7 (NIV) –  What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them the way the LORD our God is near us whenever we pray to him?

Announcing a Crescent Project Training called “Bridges”

Please join CVC members & friends as we begin a DVD Small Group Study for the purpose of helping Christians connect with Muslims. The training classes are 2 hr each, twice a week for a 3 week period, totaling 6 sessions. Here are the dates: Wed 9/8, 9/15 & 9/22 at 6:30-8:30pm and Sat 9/11, 9/18 & 9/25 at 9-11am.
